Many golf manufacturers offer discount golf clubs. These are often discontinued models, or are inferior to professional model clubs. That is not to say that are not worth purchasing.

Discount golf clubs offer many advantages to the average recreational golfer. The most obvious advantage is that they are less expensive than professional clubs. In the case of discontinued models, these discounts often make last year’s top of the line club affordable to the novice.

Golf courses often sell discount golf clubs. These are generally older clubs that have been used as rentals. However, these are excellent options for the novice who just wants to hit a ball around on a Saturday afternoon.
